Food is nice but service has worsen significantly in the last couple of years. They only have one person for the entire restaurant doing everything, serving the tables, making coffee, charging, etc. The service is too slow and you have to chase them all the time. Two hours for a couple of schnitzel and wienerli…better go to other places
Great Swiss food in a cozy restaurant in a house that's over 400 years old. The meat comes from their own farm nearby. In the summer, tables are set outside so you can eat in the green, with a playground for the kids right next to it.
One of the best Rösti and Bratwurst I’ve ever had. It took a while too arrive but it was definitely worth the wait! Clearly a family run business and the lady working was so sweet. They also had a wine specials board where they have maybe a box or so of a wine. I’ve also visited in the summer and it’s great as there is lots of play places for children so you can enjoy your meal. Bathroom has baby changing facilities in ladies toilet.
This is an excellent place to have a local Swiss food..with delicious fish nuggets made of fish caught fresh from the lake. Very kids friendly. Best outdoor experience catering to all types of taste buds.

Great outdoor place, with a good view and playground. Outdoor tables in pleasant shade.
The food is good but it's not worth the appalling level of service. We have eaten here several times over the past few years and the restaurant has always been chronically understaffed - worse still when indoors and at weekends. This can't justify the rude manner in which staff address the customers - young or old and our LAST meal there really highlighted this when our four year old was told to 'shut up' because he wanted to order something from the menu. Swiss restaurants aren't renowned for their customer service but I find this wholly unacceptable and will not be taking my custom there again.
